Project A15 – the idea that this event was promoting – is an initiative that seeks to make the busy highway running from Rotterdam to Nijmegen into the most sustainable highway in the world. The projection itself can be seen in the video below, and bear in mind that the height of the De Rotterdam building is 150 metres. That’s taller than London’s Centrepoint, which stands at 117 metres!

This is my favourite picture of Kate Moss from her Playboy debut, shot by Mert & Marcus. I love the way that the light doesn’t distort the shape of her body, but it shrouds her skin tone in this ethereal covering which adds a sort of subtlety to her nakedness. Her expression in this picture is also really innocent and youthful – the only thing that really gives the true nature of the shoot away is the ears.

This elaborate, lattice design dress is a collaboration between stage costumier Michael Schmidt and the innovative Francis Bitonti Studio, based in Brooklyn, New York. Michael Schmidt has created stage outfits for some of the most outlandish and exciting performers – from Iggy Pop, Debbie Harry, Courtney Love and Grace Jones to Rihanna, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry and – obviously – Dita Von Teese. Schmidt’s design for the gown is based on the Fibonacci sequence and was 3D modelled by Francis Bitonti, before finally being 3D printed in Nylon by Shapeways. Once the 17 separate pieces of the garment were completed, they were dyed black, lacquered and embellished with over 13,000 Swarovski crystals.Dita also wore the dress at the unveiling at New York’s Ace Hotel last night.Although the cartoon-like burlesque star said that the dress was quite comfortable and ‘super light’, I’m not entirely convinced. Undoubtedly, the dress looks pretty cool, but it seems like it didn’t take her long to change out of the gown into a more practical Roland Mouret shift dress.

Smile Makers, the manufacturers of cutesy sex toys named after traditionally desirable male stereotypes (‘The Millionaire’, ‘The Fireman’, you get the idea…) have created this microsite which allows you to create a ‘fantasy man’ and put him in a ‘fantasy setting’ and then, um…email him to your friends? The whole exercise feels a little pointless, but I suppose it’s just a bit of promotional fun.I ended up half-heartedly making this, so I suppose it means that I’m subconsciously attracted to Patrick Bateman types, which is kind of soul crushing. Actually…doesn’t this guy remind you of Scott Disick? Oh dear.
I guess, it could be worse, when this is an option…Yep, that’s right, it’s the sweaty anorak-wearing weirdo who’s often in your local Spar. Except he’s now wearing animal print underpants and he’s ready for action on, presumably, an 8-year-old girl’s bed. What the fuck?

I’m not feeling very well and I could really do with some of this right now! It’s made by an American ice cream and sorbet brand, called Jeni’s, and has got all the ingredients of a hot toddy but in a throat-numbing sorbet – mmm! The recipe contains cayenne pepper, ginger, Maker’s Mark bourbon, honey, orange and lemon juices.

‘Great music can put the fun into vacuuming,’ claim Coca-Cola on their Work It Out microsite, ‘Crank up a fast-paced tune and burn some calories while you clean!’ they enthuse.
I really love Coca-Cola, but this site is ridiculously patronising and this is the stupidest fucking workout advice I’ve ever heard. I don’t think I’ve ever listened to a decent ‘fast-paced tune’ and thought to myself, “You know what would make this track even better? The sound of a roaring hoover!”
